Manager - Technical Architect - Porcaro Stolarek Mete Partners

The Technical Architect is primarily responsible for solutioning of public, private, and hybrid cloud technologies. Typical responsibilities for this position include design and implementation of Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure and EMS. This role will assist Solution Architects and PSM leadership with developing solution specific best practices, mentoring & sharing knowledge with junior staff, marketing events and business development activities

Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assess, architect, design, implement and troubleshoot complex solutions around Microsoft public, private, and hybrid clouds
  • Heavy focus on technical lead roles and tasks during implementation and migration phases of small and mid size projects
  • Gather business requirements and define of technical tasks
  • Polished communicator adept at producing advanced-client-ready presentations such as assessments, road maps, design documents.
  • Lead the execution of technical tasks for enterprise-level clients
  • Serve as cloud platform subject matter expert and provide escalation support to team members
  • Assist leadership team with maintaining improving competencies across key technology areas
  • Assist leadership team with identifying new engagement opportunities, drive solution awareness, & interviewing new talent
  • Participate and support account planning, sales strategy and sales focused meetings
  • Deliver speaking engagements and webinars at marketing events and trade shows
  • Serve as tier 2 & 3 support for escalated project or managed services related issues
  • Advanced understanding and working knowledge related to: Office 365 suite & Exchange

Competencies, Qualifications & Certifications:

Online | private, public and hybrid datacenters| Azure AD, ADConnect, ADFS, ARM/ASM, ASR, vnets, Azure gateways & appliances | Azure automation concepts, scripting and tools| Azure resource and workload requirements | Understanding of process to develop Azure migration & operating costs | Microsoft server operating systems | Active Directory, DNS, DFS, DHCP, Group Policy| Exchange 2007/2010/2013 & experience with native and third party migration tools | PowerShell command line and scripting language/techniques | Hyper-V, VMware, XenServer |Microsoft System Center suite | Backup & disaster recovery

•General working knowledge related to: Networking and security infrastructure | Web, spam and anti-virus filtering | Database infrastructure | PBX, VoIP, and unified communications| Enterprise client deployment and management | Remote access solutions | Compliance | UNIX/Linux | SAN / NAS storage devices

•Bachelor degree related to IT and 5 years’ experience in IT consulting OR 10 years’ experience in IT consulting.

•MCSA certification required

•MCSE, CCNA and VCP a plus but not a requirement
